Deep Creek Outfitters was established in the 1980’s by Travis’ father, Ron Leavitt. He started guiding in many of the same units and areas in southern Nevada that we still hunt today. Travis has now taken over the business and has been guiding hunters for many years.

DCO has always ran our guiding business as a “quality over quantity” operation. When you book a hunt with Deep Creek Outfitters, you will likely be the only hunter in camp. This means that each client typically has multiple guides helping to fill the needs of each client.

We also pride ourselves on offering great camp accommodations for every hunt. Our camps typically consist of travel trailers, wall tents, or backcountry camps depending on the clients wants and needs.

When you book a hunt with Deep Creek Outfitters, you can be assured that we have scouted hard prior to the hunt to ensure the best chance of harvesting a quality animal. We spend many days in the field running trail cameras and glassing for big game. 

The bottom line is Deep Creek Outfitters is operated by guys who love to spend time in the mountains. We guide because we enjoy doing it and want to see our clients succeed, not because we need to do it to make a living. The number one priority of all of our guides is to give each client the hunt of a lifetime.
